I previously wrote about the Town Justice presiding over my case in the Town of Wheatfield here. Included in that article I discussed many things regarding Rodney, one of which was his lawsuit filed in Erie County (Buffalo, NY) in which he and his wife Shannon Giove are seeking a large money settlement for their “injuries” in a motor vehicle accident.

It’s bizarre because in the lawsuit Rodney Giove claims to be disabled due to the car accident, yet he shows up to my court appearances every time as the presiding Town Justice over my case. His lawsuit was originally filed on 03/11/2025.
As of today 01/26/2026, there has been no movement on his case in which him and his wife are seeking money.
The last filed document related to his case was filed on 09/10/2025. Almost four months later. Why is there no movement on his case for his large payout.

You might be wondering why a Town Justice would be so money hungry. Well, we did an additional investigation which uncovered that Rodney Giove has a bit of a debt problem. A $37,000 debt problem. They say money is the root of all evil. Indeed, it is.

We received a tip that Rodney Giove did not have the money to pay for his debt of $37,000 dollars. Ironically, he would be an auto accident seeking money damages about a year later. I suppose that might be enough to pay off his debt if he is able to secure a settlement.
