Kevin Riford
NYS Police
On May 1, 2019, Kevin Riford sent an email to New York State Governor Andrew Cuomo titled “Kevin Riford & Christina Little – FBI Corruption – Mark Poloncarz Package.” The email is documented and dated May 1, 2019.

On May 29, 2019, New York State Police Investigators Matthew Bonnerb and John Spero visited Kevin Riford’s residence in response to the aforementioned email, which concerned allegations against FBI Agent Brian A. Burns. A video recording of this interaction at Kevin’s residence is available here: https://youtu.be/NM0PlFoHfM0.

During the visit, Kevin, accompanied by his mother, Joanne Riford, agreed to meet the investigators at a nearby business approximately five minutes from their home. Ultimately, Investigator Matthew Bonnerb attempted to discredit the claims made by the Rifords, repeatedly labeling them as a “CONSPIRACY” in all capital letters within his police report. Investigator Bonnerb eventually closed the investigation.
The police report authored by Investigator Bonnerb stated: “I once again accessed misplacedpower.org, upon accessing the site, the audio has been removed.”
However, Investigator Bonnerb’s statement regarding the removal of the audio was incorrect. As of March 27,2025, the audio remains accessible on the website. Even if the audio had indeed been removed, Investigator Bonnerb failed to follow standard investigative procedures, as he did not contact the Rifords to request a direct copy or inquire about obtaining the audio via email.

These actions suggest that Investigator Bonnerb intentionally undermined the investigation to protect FBI Agent Brian A. Burns.

Town of Tonawanda Police
On May 22, 2019, Christina Little Riford and her brother, Kevin Riford, visited the Town of Tonawanda Police Department in Erie County, New York, to file a report concerning FBI Special Agent Brian Burns. Upon arrival, they informed the officer at the front desk about their intention. The officer, recognizing his familiarity with FBI Agent Burns, recused himself from taking their report and indicated he would locate another officer to assist. Christina and Kevin agreed and waited approximately 1.5 hours. When they questioned the prolonged wait, they were informed it was due to a shift change.
Eventually, Officer Lewandowski took Christina and Kevin to a private room within the police station. They provided detailed information regarding their concerns, including a web link containing multiple audio clips as evidence. Officer Lewandowski accessed the link and listened to only one audio clip, despite several others being available. He expressed reluctance to file an official police report but agreed to document the incident as a police complaint. Officer Lewandowski further advised Christina and Kevin to report the matter directly to the FBI Office of Professional Responsibility.
Curiously, in Officer Lewandowski’s written complaint, he described the alleged threat as “unsubstantiated,” yet still recommended reporting it to the FBI Office of Professional Responsibility. This contradictory guidance raises questions about the integrity of the investigative process. LISTEN TO FBI BURNS AUDIO HERE
Adding to the intrigue, Officer Lewandowski was later terminated by the Town of Tonawanda Police Department, a decision reported by the Buffalo News in a critical article. The circumstances surrounding his termination raise further questions regarding whether his dismissal was related to his handling of Christina and Kevin’s complaint or his advice to contact the FBI Office of Professional Responsibility.

Erie County Sheriff’s Department
On June 28, 2019, Christina Riford and Kevin Riford reported FBI Special Agent Brian Burns to the Erie County Sheriff’s Office. During the interaction, the sheriff’s representative appeared dismissive, repeatedly claiming jurisdictional limitations and sarcastically suggesting involvement of military police. Initially reluctant to even document the Rifords’ complaint, the representative became increasingly frustrated and defensive when pressed for assistance. This behavior depicted the Erie County Sheriff’s Office as indifferent, unhelpful, and unwilling to seriously address concerns about threats involving a federal agent.
